The new RBI 1140 hydraulic crane
FMgru is pleased to present the new range of self-erecting hydraulic cranes: the 1140 RBI.
The main features are the jib of 40 m (131 ft) with minimum capacity of 1100 kg (2425 lbs), maximum capacity with II ropes of 3000 kg (6614 lbs) at 17.3 m (57 ft) and 5000 kg (11023 lbs) at 11.1 m (37 ft) in the version with IV ropes. Ability to work with folded jib versions 29.6 m (97 ft) (1700-kg 3748 lbs) and 14 m (46 ft) (3000-kg 6614 lbs) while maintaining the capacity.

New "DE-LUXE" cabin
FMgru is pleased to present a new type of cabin which can provide easy access to controls, comfort, safety and good visibility with the new fully adjustable ergonomic seat that can rotate 180°.
The interior, in addition to ample space and compartments dedicated, has been enhanced with new commands to use conditioner, electric heater, interior light, glass wiper, washer and display for full control and positioning of the load at any time.
The finish of each cabin provides, before painting, electroplating treatment, ensures that over time the maximum resistance to corrosion.

Camera installed in the cabin
Milan, Covar-Unieco site: a sophisticated camera, that allows a successful and safe load control at any time and work situation, was installed on the crane model 2760 TLX, 177 m high.
In large modern yards, 312x total zoom allows perfect vision during the night shift.

RBI feet telescopic stabilizers
It has been tested the new RBI self-erecting crane with adjustable telescopic feet stabilizers.
All independent, allowing the crane to raise the ground of 1.2 meters and the entrance of the trailer for easy placement on the truck, the new telescopic stabilizers facilitate transport operations and on-site positioning.
The new stabilizers do not change any characteristics of the crane, as luffing jib and capacity.

New transport equipment for RBI cranes
It was presented the new road transport equipment for RBI self erecting cranes: the pair of axle (rear drive and front steering) both brakes.
The advantages are easy assembly and disassembly, compact size, more performance within the site, and safer road transport (up to 40 km/h).

Start restoring in Venice, Punta della Dogana
The erection of 2 FMgru TLX topless tower cranes, models 1350 (h 33m) and 1345 (h 42m), for the New Contemporary Art Gallery, is finished.
The New Contemporary Art Gallery of Venice, Punta della Dogana, will be opened after restoring in June, 2009.

New hoisting winches for TLX and TCK cranes
FMgru new hoisting winches for TLX and TCK cranes series: v 33.90 (22 kW), v 50.100 (37 kW) and v 100.100 (75 kW).
The main advantages are: higher hoisting speed, higher hoisting capacity, lower electrical absorpition, higher reliability and safety, lower noise level.

FM GRU in Bari
After rebuilding of Fenice in Venice, FMgru goes again to theatre.
The works for restoring Petruzzelli theatre in Bari, Italy, started in August 2007, and a FM 1365 TLX topless tower crane has been installed in site.
Not far, another FM tower crane is working for resorting of Margherita theatre.
