The new RBI 1140 self-erecting hydraulic crane

FMgru is pleased to present the new range of self-erecting hydraulic cranes: the 1140 RBI.

The main features are the jib of 40 m (131 ft) with minimum capacity of 1100 kg (2425 lbs), with maximum capacity with II ropes of 3000 kg (6614 lbs) at 17.3 m (57 ft) and 5000 kg (11023 lbs) at 11.1 m (37 ft) in the version with IV ropes.

Ability to work with folded jib versions 29.6 m (97 ft) 1700 kg (3748 lbs) and 14 m (46 ft) 3000 kg (6614 lbs) while maintaining the capacity.

The 1140 RBI, in standard configuration, reaches a maximum height in jib tip of 24 m (79 ft) under hook and the radius of rotation of the ballast is reduced to only 2.7 m (8.85 ft) from the rotation axis of the tower.

The 1140 RBI also offers the opportunity to work with luffing jib at 15° with constant capacity of 800 kg (1764 lbs) and with jib length of 39 m (128 ft). In this configuration, the crane reaches maximum height of 30m (99 ft) at jib end.

All movements of the 1140 RBI are managed by advanced electronic components such as inverters and PLC, which offer low power consumption and easy management of operations to ensure a successful and safe load control at any time and work situation.

Despite the 1140 RBI is the largest of the "family" of self-erectors, the transport is ensured by a single truck; the axles and the plus tires, ensuring ease of movement within the yard.
